Description: Venture Recruitment Partners are assisting an established SME with their search for a Purchase Ledger Clerk, based in the New Forest.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Supporting the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in processing intercompany invoices, reconciling vendor accounts and analysing supplier statements

·         You will liaise with suppliers, ensuring all queries are dealt with and that any outstanding credit requests are received

·         You will be responsible for the creation of weekly and monthly Bacs and Cheque payment runs to ensure all suppliers are paid accurately and on a timely basis

 

Person specification:

·         The ideal candidate will have knowledge of working in a fast paced, multi-entity organisation, dealing with a high volume of transactions

·         You should also be willing to roll up your sleeves and assist the wider Finance team

·         Good IT skills are essential and a knowledge of Excel is highly desirable

·         Ability to communicate at all levels
